A history in gymnastics, dance or martial arts helps, but it is not required. Most of our members started with none of it. The progressions do the heavy lifting.

Prep & Conditioning

No. Your starting age matters far less than your willingness to start. We coach teens and adults across a wide range of ages, and because every skill is built progressively and scaled to you, you train at the right level from day one. The only people who never learn are the ones who never begin.
No. A background in gymnastics, dance or martial arts helps, but it is not required. Most of our members started with none. Our progressions are designed for complete beginners, so we start you at the foundations and build the flip from there.
It depends on your starting strength, flexibility and how often you train. With random self-practice it can take years, or never happen at all. Inside a structured progression with coaching and conditioning, most committed members progress far faster because they build the right skills in the right order. We give you the path, you bring the reps.
Learning a backflip is only dangerous when it is done with no coaching, no progression and no conditioning, which is exactly how most people teach themselves. We do the opposite. Skills are built in a safe order, on proper matting, with coaches spotting and cueing you. You earn each step before you attempt the next.
Yes. Teens often learn quickly because of their natural mobility and fast recovery. We coach teenagers in the same safe, progressive way, building the foundations and lead-up skills before any flipping, with a coach guiding every step.
