How Kickboxing Helps Reduce Stress

In today’s fast-paced world, stress has become an all too common companion for many busy individuals. The demands of work, family, and other responsibilities can take a toll on our mental and physical well-being.

I often like to ask our members how they feel after their sessions at HQ, because I want to make sure everyone is getting the most out of their training with us.

One of the benefits that I hear about the LION Program, which combines Kickboxing, Self-Defence and Peak Performance Training, is that it provides them with a way to let go of stress, focus on themselves and feel good for the week.

In this blog post, we will explore practical tips and techniques for using our signature LION Program, as a powerful stress relief tool, specifically tailored for busy individuals like you.

1. Focus on Mind-Body Connection:

During the LION Program kickboxing sessions, be mindful of the mind-body connection. Concentrate on the physical sensations, your spatial awareness, the rhythm of your breath, and the weight behind your strikes. By staying present and fully engaged in your training, you can momentarily disconnect from the stressors of daily life and find a sense of calm.

2. Release Tension through Strikes and Kicks:

Kickboxing provides an excellent outlet for releasing tension and pent-up emotions. As you throw punches and execute kicks on the pads, visualize your stressors and channel your energy into each strike. Picture the stress being released with each powerful movement, allowing yourself to feel lighter and more relaxed.

3. Incorporate High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT):

We integrate high-intensity interval training (HIIT) into your kickboxing routine can maximize stress relief. HIIT involves alternating bursts of intense exercise with short recovery periods. This approach boosts endorphin levels, improves cardiovascular fitness, and helps burn off stress-induced adrenaline.

4. Practice Mindful Breathing Techniques:

Incorporating mindful breathing techniques into your kickboxing sessions can enhance stress relief. Between combinations or during breaks, take moments to focus on your breath. Slow, deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth can calm your nervous system, reduce stress, and promote relaxation.

5. Prioritize Your Training Sessions:

With a packed schedule, it’s crucial to prioritize your training sessions. Treat them as important appointments with yourself. Set aside dedicated time for your training. You always feel better afterwards. Consistency is key in reaping the stress-relieving benefits of kickboxing.

6. Embrace the Cathartic Benefits:

Kickboxing provides a cathartic release that can be incredibly beneficial for stress relief. Embrace the opportunity to let go of tension and frustrations. Feel the satisfaction of each punch and kick on the pads, allowing them to symbolize your triumph over stress.

The LION Program, at Invincible HQ, is great as a powerful stress relief outlet for busy individuals. By incorporating these tips into your training sessions, you can reduce your daily stressors, improve your physical fitness, and enhance overall well-being.

Make these kickboxing sessions a regular part of your self-care routine, and experience the transformative benefits it can bring to your life.

How To Overcome Your Fear Of Failure And Perform At Your Best

One question I get asked quite often is, “Alan, how do I overcome the fear of failure?”

Surveys show that 78% of the time, the fear of failure is based on a false perception of reality, which has a negative effect on our performance.

To overcome this, most people try to “think positive”, or tell themselves “You’ve got this!”, or they psyche themselves with positive affirmations.

But the problem is these surface techniques don’t always work when it’s actual crunch time!

So what can you do?

Watch this video if:
– You have a goal that you have been putting off, but you can’t get over your fear, even though you know you would succeed if you went all in.
– You have an upcoming presentation, or exam, or date that you want to go well.
– You want to take control of your perceptions

In this video, you will learn:

  • How Your Subconscious Beliefs Affect Your Results

How to Overcome Self-Doubt

Everyone feels self-doubt at least every once in a while. However, high achievers overcome their self-doubt, while low achievers wallow in it and allow their self-doubt to prevent them from achieving their goals.

Self-doubt sounds like the following:

“I’m not sure I can do this.”
“What if I fail?”
“What if I just don’t have what it takes?”

Fortunately, there are ways of conquering those doubts, so that they don’t hold you back. Below you’ll find eight ways to overcome self-doubt.

1. Beware of Naysayers.

Self-doubt comes from one of two sources, from other people—also known as naysayers–or from your own negative inner chatter.

Let’s start with the naysayers. They’re the people who are constantly telling you things like the following:
“That’s too hard; there’s no way you’ll succeed. Don’t even try.”
“That doesn’t sound safe.”
“You’re too old to try that. Remember, you can’t teach an old dog new tricks.”
“What if you fail? You’ll never be able to live it down”

The motivation behind these comments could be any of the following:
They may be trying to keep you from getting hurt, albeit in a misguided way. If this is the case, explain to them how you’ve prepared yourself for the challenge that lies ahead, and reassure them that you’ll be fine.
They’re reflecting their own doubts about themselves onto you. Don’t adopt other people’s doubts as your own. Instead, tell those people: “I’m sorry if that’s how you see yourself, but that’s not how I see myself.”
They may be jealous that you’re trying something new, while they’re too scared to change. Move away from these people as fast as you can.
Deal with naysayers so that they stop feeding your self-doubt.

2. Challenge the Negative Chatter in Your Head.

The second source of self-doubt is your own negative inner chatter. The best way to quiet the negative chatter in your head is to present evidence against anything it’s saying. Here are some examples of possible responses:
“What are you saying? That I’m too old. There’s a British man named Fauja Singh who ran a marathon at the age of 100! I still have time.”
“I understand that it’s going to be hard. But this is important to me, and I’m willing to do the necessary work.”

3. Shrink the Challenge.

It’s easy to doubt yourself when the challenge that you’re facing is very large. Therefore, you can decrease your self-doubt by making the challenge smaller.

4. Ask – What’s the Worst that Could Happen?

Another way to overcome your self-doubt is to come up with the worst case scenario. If you fail, what’s the worst thing that could happen? Then, ask yourself the following:
Is it really that bad?
What steps can I take to lessen the probability that the worst case scenario will come to pass?
What can I do to be prepared in case the worst does happen? What sort of “insurance” could I set up in order to protect myself?

5. Ask – What’s the Best that Could Happen?

If you go after your dreams, you might fail. But you might also succeed. What would that look like? Paint a vivid picture of what your life would be like if you achieved your goal. Whenever you feel self-doubt rearing its ugly head, pull up that image of yourself succeeding and achieving your goal.
Overcome self-doubt by keeping your eye on the prize.

6. Take the Focus Off of Yourself.

Sometimes you feel self-doubt because you’re too focused on yourself. If that’s the case, what you need to do is shift your focus to others.
Eg. Instead of asking, “What if I bomb the presentation?”, ask yourself, “What do the people who are going to be in the audience need to know about this topic, and how I make the presentation fun and informative for them?”
See what the trick is here? If you’re not thinking about yourself, how can you doubt yourself? Put an end to self-doubt by focusing on others.

7. Share Your Goal with People You Trust.

If you share your goal with the wrong people—toxic people, people who don’t like change, or people who are just sad and miserable—they’ll probably add to any self-doubt that you may be feeling. However, sharing your goal with the right people will help you to conquer your self-doubt.
There are some people who can act as a bridge between where you are now and where you want to be. Those are the people you want to be sharing your goals and dreams with. They will help you overcome your self-doubt.
At Invincible HQ, we’ve created an environment where everyone is safe and supportive of each other. You can share your goals with the people you train with or the Invincible Coaches, and we will do the best we can to help you!

8. Walk Through Your Fear.

Self-doubt is fear: fear of failure, fear of being ridiculed, fear of disappointing others, and so on. In order to overcome self-doubt, you have to walk through your fear.

THE TRUTH ABOUT YOUR COMFORT ZONE

We’ve all heard the phrase “The magic happens outside your comfort zone”. But have you ever fully gotten the meaning of this? The truth is, breaking out of your comfort zone requires a lot courage. Effort. Dedication. You have to face the fear of the unknown. Jump in the deep end. Trust in your hard work and put your faith in the future.

Scared? You should be. It’s frightening. But it’s even more rewarding.

Here’s what is takes to step out of your comfort zone and why it’s totally worth it.

1. You must make the decision alone

Doing something you have never done before requires making a decision. A life-changing decision. And although you will never be alone on your journey, you will be on your own for this. You and only you alone can decide to take the first step. Others can encourage. They can motivate. But they can never walk in your shoes. Your actions must come from within. Ask yourself: What do you want to achieve? Would you like to be better, stronger, fitter? Then, make your decision to get there.

2. There will be times when it’s hard

The truth about greatness is: Getting there is not easy. You will have doubts. Tell yourself that your goal is unreachable. There will be a point when you want to quit. But this is all in your mind. It’s scared. Your mind prefers being comfortable. Because it doesn’t know any better. It’s unaware of what’s beyond your comfort zone. Trust me, there is so much in store.

3. Why it will all be worth it

The pain, the struggle and the doubts are all a part of your journey to greatness. Stepping out of the comfort zone proves your strength and endurance. Teaches you discipline and determination. You will see things from another point of view. Discover a new side of yourself. And in the end you will understand that the real magic does not happen only once you’ve broken out of your comfort zone itself. But rather the journey of getting there.

4. Step out of your comfort zone now

The Invincible Coaches are here to not only push you to your limits, but also keep you motivated during your journey. They’ve been trained to not only adapt to your fitness level but also take your willpower into consideration to make sure you step out of your comfort zone and become the best version of yourself.

We Rise Together. We Inspire Together. Invincible is Life!

3 Steps To Be Unstoppable

What’s the difference between someone who wakes up everyday feeling energetic, strong, able to achieve their goals, and easily influences people, as opposed to someone who feels like they’re struggling, frustrated, and can’t seem to get to where they want to go?

It’s not their fault. It’s not life’s fault. It’s not situation. Nor environment.

It’s what we call frequency. It’s about switching certain things. Your standards. Your belief systems. Certain small things, that if you change it, everything will unlock itself.

I get so many email questions from people all over the world, saying, “I feel unmotivated. Deep down, I know I can be more. But I wake up with low energy, I don’t feel good. Inside I know I can do so much more. But outside, physically and mentally, I don’t feel good.”

How do you wake up everyday with energy? How do you achieve your goals and get into that state where you feel “unstoppable”?

There are three inhibitors to feeling “unstoppable” or a feeling of “Invincible”.

  1. Living An Unhealthy Lifestyle – The first inhibitor is your lifestyle, which includes your physical activities, your diet, your sleep patterns, even your breathing patterns. These all influence the way you’re living, hence affects your energy quality and how you feel every day.
  2. Negativity – The second inhibitor involves the influences on your outlook on life. This includes the people around you, your environment, and your social media feed.
  3. Lacking Motivation – A lot of people feel like they plateau in life. They feel like they’re not getting more out of life. They can’t find the drive and passion to train or move forward in life. We’re not just talking about surface motivation, we’ll be going a little deeper into this below.

In 2011, I landed my very first 9-5 job, and got a taste of what it is like to work full-time. It was with Irwin Tools, a big American tools company. It was actually a really good job. I was given a brand new company car, had a company laptop, and credit card. Every two weeks I’d get to go away to Newcastle in four star hotels, with all expenses paid for. Each day after work I could just drive to the beach.

So for most people, you’d think that it’s a pretty good life. It wasn’t something that I really passionate about. Every day I would wake up with low energy and motivation. I didn’t feel good. I couldn’t maintain my training. By the time I got home, after 8-10 hours of work, I didn’t feel like training because my energy was all depleted.

I was also surrounded by a lot of negative people. Every time there was stress they would go out for a cigarette, and would often be bitching and complaining about each other. There was a lot of negativity.

So eventually I left that job to work on building Invincible Worldwide full-time. So while I was building it up, I made sure I was walking my talk. Everything that I was teaching my students, I was still making sure I was doing myself. So I got back into training. I cleaned up my mindset. Everything boosted back up.

Today with Invincible Worldwide, we’re able to inspire over 110,000 people around the world. We’ve got over 13 Million hits on our YouTube Channel. We’ve built an Invincible HQ, where we get to inspire and change the lives of hundreds of people every night. So it’s been a big shift.

In this article, I will show you how to shift your frequency. How get yourself into that state where you’re unstoppable.

The key is achieve balance in what I call the Invincible Trifecta. If you can understand this concept, everything will be unlocked for you. There are 3 forces that have a major influence on your frequency and your results in every aspect of your life.

1. MOVEMENT

In everything in life, there needs to be constant movement. Bruce Lee says, “running water never goes stale, you’ve got to just keep on moving.”

If you start to move yourself into a healthy lifestyle, including eating right, sleeping right, exercising often, you’ll begin to put your body, your metabolism and biochemical processes into better motion.

Here’s a tip to raise your metabolism, so that everything you eat during the day goes straight to energy instead of being stored as fat. When you wake up in the morning, before you eat breakfast, do something that raises your heart rate. This could be as simple as skipping for just 2 minutes!

Moreover, when you get active, your body releases endorphins, serotonin and makes you feel good.

At Invincible Worldwide, we take it to a whole new level with our training. Not only do we get you to be fitter, stronger, and more functional. We take that word “functional” to a whole new meaning. Our goal in training is to get your body and mind into the zone, so when you want it, it’s there.

We teach you skills, strength, and to move in different ways so that you actually take your body, flexibility, mobility, strength, speed, power to a whole new level, instead of just going to the gym.

The problem with most people when they go to the gym, is that they often come out feeling sore, heavy and stiff. And often they find it hard to stay motivated and get results. So we like to train differently.

So the first step to feeling unstoppable is to do some sort of physical exercise every single day. Get your body moving.

2. MINDSET

Start to surround yourself with people that are moving towards where you want to go. Surround yourself with people who inspire you and who support you. Stay away from people who complain often, who put you down and who discuss low quality ideas.

You have to surround yourself, your Facebook feed, your Instagram feed, your social media, your walls, your room, with the things that inspire you, so that your mind is protected. So that everywhere you go, every single day, your mind is unstoppable.

Having a strong mindset also means being aware of how you’re reacting to things.

For example, if someone cuts you off when you’re driving, what’s the first thing that comes out of your mouth? What’s the first thought that you have? If you’re walking past the table and you spill water a glass of water, what’s your first reaction? Do you get angry? Do you get frustrated? Or do you just move on calmly?

Remember, it’s not what happens to you in life, it’s how you respond to it. The most successful people are able to respond effectively, rather than reacting with emotion. In Zen practice, we call this the art of thinking right thought.

3. MEANING

The reason why a lot of people are lacking motivation and drive is because they’re lacking lacking meaning in what they do. They’re lacking the feeling of being on purpose. Or they’re lacking this feeling of doing something bigger for the world. They’re playing small.

“Meaning” means you’re tapping into yourself. You’re not listening to anyone else, or the media, or society’s expectations. You’re listening to what you’re truly passionate about. What you want to do.

These are the Invincible Trifectas that will help you to feel unstoppable, energetic, and strong. If you look closely, the Trifectas are about aligning your your body, your mind, and your emotions. When you maximize all three, you feel unstoppable. This helped my life, changed my life.

Our mission at Invincible Worldwide is to help you be extraordinary. We’re fighting against mediocrity. We want to help people who feel they can be more in life to have the resources, the motivation and platforms to be able to feel Invincible.

Imagine if everybody can live on that level, what would our world be life? Everyone would be walking around positive, inspired, helping others, paying things forward.

So today, find three things for each of the Trifectas that you can starting doing to move yourself forward. How can you train better? What three things can you start doing to improve your movements and to improve your physical health? What three things can you start doing to improve your mindset? What three things can you start doing so you can living, start living on purpose every single day.

If you have any questions, let us know. We’re here to help you get into the zone so that you feel invincible, so you can get out there and inspire the world.

4 Steps To Have More Energy Everyday

When was the last time that you woke up and you felt energetic, energized, excited? When was the last time you hopped out of bed and you couldn’t wait to start your day?

Think about it, when we were kids, it was so much easier to have a abundant energy. There’s a brightness in their eyes. You can see a shine, a vibrancy and limitless energy. However, when you look at most adults, they’re always tired, fatigued or low in energy.

I noticed that I’d got to a point where I was waking up and feeling sluggish. I’d want to get up and train, but my energy levels weren’t there. I had to use a will power to do so. Willpower, as you know, is a muscle, and it can’t last long. You burn out.

Furthermore, by the end of the day, my energy levels and my focus, had completely diminished, leaving me feeling sluggish, lethargic and unmotivated.

After noticing that my energy levels were not where I wanted to be, I decided to do some research and experiments to see how I can increase my energy levels.

I wanted to find a way to manage my busy lifestyle, in a way that I can get my energy back and get my focus back so I can perform on the highest level all the time.

Energy is so everything. If you can have energy, or life force, it influences your work, it influences your training, it influences your life, your relationships, everything.

Throughout your life, there are two important resources you have to conserve. It’s not money, or any material things.

The first resource you want to conserve and not waste, is your time. Time is a commodity that you cannot take back, that you cannot control. If you lose it, that’s it.

The second resource is your life force, your chi, or your energy. In Chinese medicine, they say your chi is a finite energy, or a finite resource.

We are all born with a certain amount of life force and if you deplete that through wastage and not taking care of your health, you actually won’t have any more life force. So that by the time you’re older, you can actually have more energy and not be prone to diseases or illness.

By living healthy, by doing a couple of things differently, you can actually reserve your life force a lot more.

In this article, I’ll show you four things to do that will have a great impact in improving your energy levels.

I’ve actually tried this myself and have since incorporated them into my daily routine.

After the first thirty days, I could feel my energy levels increase, my productivity went up, and my training results went up.

Here are four things that I want you to do every single day.

1. CONNECT WITH THE EMOTION OF GRATITUDE

First thing you should do every single morning is wake up and write down three things that you are grateful for. Physically write it out, instead of just thinking about it.

It could be anything, for example, the roof that you have over your head, the people you have in your life, the health that you have right now.

When you’re thinking about this, don’t just list it out for the sake of it. Really appreciate and feel the emotion. That’s what will make the difference. Appreciation and gratitude is what’s important, it’s a feeling.

Because when I first did this a couple of times, I was just listing it out and didn’t get much result from it. It wasn’t until I stepped back and truly felt the emotion, that I started seeing results.

So get into the habit of writing out 3 things you’re grateful for. Tomorrow, write down another three things. Then the next day, three more things. By the end of the thirty days, you’re going to have at least 90 things you’re grateful for.

Now, you will get to a point where you feel like you run out of things to be grateful for. That’s okay.

Rewrite the same things, but go deeper. For example, one of the things I’ve got on my list is that I’m grateful for the sun that shines into my window and that gives me energy.

I appreciate feel the warmth, I feel the energy, I’m grateful for that. The next day, if I run out of things to list out, I would go deeper. I would think of the sun, and how the sun gives me energy to wake up, to give energy, inspire and change people’s lives just the way the sun is doing for the entire world.

So the goal is to go deeper and deeper every day with the emotion of gratitude, until it becomes your natural state.

2. OVER-HYDRATE YOUR BODY

Your body is 70 percent water. Water is essence. Let me ask you a question, how often do you think you drink water in a day? More importantly, when you sleep, let’s say eight hours. Can you imagine going eight hours without water?

So another way to improve your health and increase energy for your day, is to drink more water before going to bed.

In the first couple of night, you will need to go to the bathroom more often, while your body adjusts. But trust that this will improve your overall energy levels. Your body will adjust and you eventually won’t need to go the bathroom after you jump into bed.

The extra water replenishes you, it keeps you hydrated for the eight hours that you are sleeping. When you wake up, your body is fresh, and it’s not dry.

Then, when you wake up, drink another extra glass of water to rehydrate your body again.

3. USE THE DRAGON BREATH

There’s a thing called a fire breath or a dragon breath. When you wake up in the morning, I want you to try three deep breaths. It’s similar to Wim Hof Method.

What you want to do is breathe in for three deep breaths into the stomach. Place your hand on your stomach and imagine a balloon. When you breathe in, the balloon expands. And as you breathe out fast, the balloon deflates, your stomach pushes back into the spine.

There are multiple counts you can experiment with to increase your energy.

One way is to breathe in slowly for 6 seconds, hold 6 seconds, then breathe out fast as if you are sighing, then hold 6 seconds. Repeat.

During our busy lives, most people breathe very shallow, usually from the nose or at most the chest. You want to practice and train yourself to start breathing from the diaphragm.

This gives you more oxygen flow around the body, while more effectively removing the carbon dioxide in your body.

When you first start doing regular deep breaths, say 30 in a row, you’ll get to a point where you start to get light headed. That’s okay. You might feel tingling in your head. This is good. It’s more oxygen floating into your head.

This breathing also has positive effects on your physical performance. For example, I tested this with my strength in finger push ups. Before the breathing exercise, I did 50 push ups. Then after 30 breaths, I moved to 75. The deep breathing gives you more oxygen around your body and you can perform on a higher level.

4. BE TECH FREE BEFORE AND AFTER BED

How often, each day when you wake up, the first thing you look at is your phone. And the last thing you see at night before bed is your phone?

Research shows that for the hour before you sleep, you shouldn’t be using your phone or any screen devices. You don’t want blue screen. You’d rather be reading or meditating, but don’t use your screen.

I’d found one hour to be very difficult, so I did half an hour. For thirty days, the half hour before bed and half hour after waking up, I had no phones, no technology. What I found is in the morning, when I wake up, I had a lot more energy. I woke up more energetic, in a better mood and feeling more motivated.

Give it a go! I’m going to set you an easy 10-day challenge. Try these 4 habits for the next 10 days. You’ll see results and you’ll keep going for the next 30 days!

I tried it out myself, and saw massive, massive difference over 30 days.

These simple habits will give you so much more energy. You will wake up with a lot of power, a lot more vibrancy, and it’s going to make a difference in everything that you do.

How To Stay Motivated In Winter

Winter’s coming on strong. We get stronger. At a time when most people are getting lazy, most people are slowing down, most people are feeling mediocre or most people kind of let themselves go, we don’t do that. We rise above that. We stay on top. As Invincible athletes, we work, we stay strong.

But how do you stay motivated? How do you stay focused especially when there are so many distractions? Or when the weather’s changing, it’s getting colder and most people feel lazy?

Motivation is not something that you find. Motivation isn’t something that will hopefully drop on your lap and make you feel good. Or you don’t wake up one day and you say, I hope I’ll feel motivated today.

Motivation should not be an external source. You should not be finding motivation from outside. True motivation is from within. True motivation is generated.

As an Invincible Athlete we control ourselves, we have self-mastery and to do that we understand one thing – one critical thing. Everything you want to achieve in life, everything you want to feel – happiness, fulfillment, success, motivation, passion, has to be generated from within.

We do not wait for external circumstances. Motivation comes from within. It’s about having the Invincible Mindset.

The word “Invincible” comes from the Latin word, “invincibilis”. “Invincibilis” means you can’t be defeated. So Invincible means everyday you wake up you choose not to be defeated.

So if you wake up, if it’s cold outside, it’s raining, you don’t want to train, you’ve been defeated. So Invincible means whatever obstacles that life throws at you, you can achieve anything. You can go above and beyond because you choose not to be defeated. It’s all a choice.

Here are three strategies that will help you stay motivated and achieve your goals. Whether if you wanna be fitter this year, or you wanna achieve more skills, or you just wanna increase your lifestyle, you wanna have better lifestyle, have more energy, you just feel better about yourself.

1. SET A HIGHER STANDARD FOR YOURSELF

The first step is you want to set higher standards for yourself. By raising your standards you actually shift the way you act. You own yourself, you know you’re worth something more. Your standards reflects the quality of you. Your standards will affect everything that you produce, everything that you portray to the world.

Your standards affect your actions. Your actions affect your results. By having high standards for yourself you actually affect your actions. You choose to work differently, you produce things differently, you’ll train differently, and then that affects your results.

To give you an example, let’s say it’s cold outside, you’re tired, you’re sore and you’re in bed and you feel like, oh I don’t wanna train. But if you have high standards for yourself, your actions will be different. You’ll jump out of bed, and get ready to train.

If you have low standards for yourself you’re gonna say, “You know, I can probably train another day. I can probably do it tomorrow.” Your standards affect your actions, and that affects your results. Standards heavily determine the results that you get in life.

Anthony Robbins talks about the difference between having a “must” and a “should”. If you have “must”, you do it no matter what. You have a high standard. Rain or shine whatever you saw you have a high standard for yourself, you get up and you train. If you have a low standard for yourself for you it’s a “should”.

For example, those with low standards will say things like, “Yeah I should train today, no but it’s actually cold, so I don’t want to train.”

So once you understand if your standards are high you will achieve. You’ll unlock so much more of your potential. Raise your standards in everything that you do and your quality of life will go to a whole new level.

2. CREATE TIME BLOCKS

Next thing is what we call time blocking. This idea is from great author and speaker Brendan Burchard and he talks about high performance habits and he says, “If you allow your time to be filled with randomness “you are stealing away from your greatness.”

A lot of people play their week with randomness. They might say, “Monday I’m gonna start training so I’m gonna fit in a training session in, and maybe if I can, maybe if I feel like it I’ll fit in a Wednesday, and possibly if I feel good, maybe on a Saturday morning.”

But then what happens is often on Wednesday they say, “Oh it’s cold outside, it’s raining. I’ll do it on Thursday instead.” And then when Thursday comes we get another “distraction”. Too often, we play life in a way where we allow ourselves to be random.

High performers use Time Blocks. Time Blocks are pre-planned parts of the day that cannot be moved. It’s un-negotiable. When you can create time blocks where it’s un-negotiable for you to train you’re going to achieve your goals no matter what.

Despite when everyone else gets lazy, you time block to move forward. That is the key. You set out a pre-planned time for you to train or do what is required to achieve your goals and it cannot be moved or changed, regardless of how you feel or what life throws at you.

3. SET A CONSISTENCY SYSTEM

Consistency is difficult especially in today’s world when there are too many distractions. So the best way to stay consistent is to have a system to be able to be consistent.

For example, Jerry Seinfeld, the famous comedian who produced and starred the TV show, Seinfeld, used a system that enabled him to master his craft and be a great at what he does.

He had a calendar on his wall mapped out for 30 days. And every single day he’d set a goal to write a joke. He’ll wake up and he’ll force himself to write at least a joke every single day. So if he did it on that day, he’ll give himself a big red cross, and then if he does it the next day he’ll give himself another cross, and he does it the next day, another cross, and another cross. Then eventually he’ll end up with a chain of crosses.

If you look on your wall and you see four crosses in a row of productivity, you do not want break that chain. So that’s what he did. He tricked himself, he played a game for himself so that every single day, every single day he creates a chain and he does not wanna break that chain.

Every goal can be achieved and mastered through consistency. Consistency is your key. Motivation you cannot rely on but if you have a system to have consistency you’ll achieve everything you want in your life. The idea is to create a daily chain, some kind of visual chain that you won’t want to break.

You will find a link below for you to download a Self-Mastery Tool from us. On this sheet you will be able to write down your goals, and then you have 30 days to move towards it. Move towards that goal, whether it be fitness, whether it be a push up. If you’re doing something everyday to move forward, give it a nice good cross or big tick in the boxes.

Keep it consistent and achieve a good long chain of consistency throughout the month and that way you’ll be able to achieve your goals and move forward.
